SPectacle Spectacular, Cautionary Tales



These drawings were created by researching the Fashion Photography, Fashion Editorials, and ADvertising within Condé Nast publications Spanning a twenty year Period. I focused in particular on issues of VOgue and Vanity Fair Magazines.



The Cautionary Tales component of my Spectacle Spectacular series charts a "history" of commodity and consumption that results in fiasco. Environments once rich in resources crumble around the occupants. Culture is blunted by the landscape, leaving spaces that are dark and uninviting.
